You can hear traces of summer with the opening whirling guitar riffs, effectively creating the season of my dreams. While the strumming layers create a wonderful rippling effect, the vocals echo as if you’re being slowly submerged. Released today on Prefix Magazine, this new song from San Fran’s Blackbird Blackbird “Overboard” seems to give us a peek at the sol soundtrack he plans to release near the end of summer along with 10-12 other tracks.
Though everything about this makes me long for the summer much more, I’ll settle for this song as a comforting substitute.
