Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?
Another new song from Friendly Fires in the space of 24 hours? kthankyouplz.
Yesterday we heard “Hawaiian Air”, the second new tune from their upcoming second album “Pala”, and today they’ve released “Blue Cassette”, another dance-athonic-anthem-onic-athonic-onic-athon. The track’s the closest thing I’ve heard so far to anything from their first album, maybe more like “Skeleton Boy” in the melody and “Paris” in the beat.
From next week (Monday May 9th) you’ll be able to stream their entire album via The Hype Machine but if you live in Japan you can already stream it from the band’s Japanese album site. If you’ve heard the whole thing, how does it compare to their debut? You can grab the new tune below and check back in on Monday for the album stream too.
