It’s chilly. It’s wavey. It’s the first full new song from the forebearers of the made-up genre that is Chillwave.
Coming from the follow-up to the wildly successful 2009 debut “Psychic Chasms”, Neon Indian‘s second album titled “Era Extraña” is coming out on September 13th (looks like that’s gonna be a good day for new albums). If this first song “Fallout” is any indication then we’re definitely in for more of the same ethereal and hazy electronic swimtrunks found on that debut, and whilst that sound can grate on you after a while, this song is really good and not too trite at all.
