Not many bands from Oklahoma have been making waves as of late, but perhaps the most notable of the ones who have are Other Lives. Having released their third album “Tamer Animals” this year they’ve gained a fair amount of support and expanded their fanbase because of it.
Comparable to Radiohead, Fleet Foxes, and Midlake, their music is a combination of each of those artists, and then some. I know many people who have already placed them firmly in their top 10 albums of the year list, and for good reason. The new track “Song Song” is being released as part of a Windows Phone promotion showcasing how the band use their phone on the road to stay in touch with fans by taking pictures and posting updates to their Tumblr page.
