Now, let me be clear, I’ve never been much of a PJ Harvey fan, kinda just picking up on her stuff over the years, pecking at her discography and liking the odd tune here and disliking the odd song there, but maybe that’s about to change, maybe I’ll just start getting stuck into her varied and somewhat extensive back catalogue.
Or maybe I won’t, but this new tune I’m digging. It’s a little out there; Extraterrestrial and warbling, she sound like she’s either underwater or using one of those Shake Weights as she sings with a tribal backing band, chanting and waving giant leaves around. The song is taken from her soon-to-be-released eighth album “Let England Shake”, coming in February 2011 via Island Records.
