It’s been a few months since we’ve had some new tunes from The Joy Formidable, but here’s another newb from the as-yet-no-official-release-date album “The Big Roar”, expected in 2011.
It follows in the footsteps of some of their previous tunes’ wall-to-wall sound, haunting synths and an overall atmosphere of foreboding, layered with catchy choruses and reverb-laden vocals. They’ve been gaining a shitload of buzz over the last few months and if we can go by their last few songs, “The Big Roar” is gonna be chock-fulla hits.
