Washed Out has dropped another tidbit from his upcoming “Within And Without” (only a couple of weeks away now…). It’s called “Amor Fati”, and well it might be. If I were Ernest Greene, I think I’d be pretty much in Amor with my Fati – all the evidence is that the album is going to be one of the highlights of the summer.
The track leans a little more to his synthpop side than his chillwave, but I’ll forgive him that. I’m a sucker for – I’m sorry, I can’t think of a better way to say this – washed out vocals; even more so when the beat behind them has me doing a subtle little hip-jiggle.
