Fleet Foxes singer Robin pecknold is obviously not content with getting their second album finished up and practicing that he had to go and record some new shit with some buddies, just for the hell of it.
As he said on their Facebook page he “recorded three songs in LA a couple weeks ago with my friend Noah. One is a new song that’s a duet with my buddy Ed Droste from the amazing band Grizzly Bear, one is a solo new song, and one is a cover. Hope you enjoy!”
He then posted a link to Megaupload to download them but they’re also below if you want to hear them. The song in question with Grizzly Bear’s Ed Droste is a slow and solemn acoustic tune “I’m Losing Myself”, and the other two tunes follow in the same vein which is what you’d expect from the humble folksters.
