Our buddy-buds over at Tympanogram are putting some work in to try to bring some more exposure to their local music scene, and first up in doing so is The Dads.
A four-piece from Rochester, NY, they’ve released a self-titled album in January 2010, an EP of demos, and a single or two, including their latest track “Don’t Know How To Eat That”. In what sounds like a blend of rowdy garage-rock that’s easily identifiable with recent upstarts Yuck or not-so-recent upstarts Harlem. Fuck it, let’s throw some of The Smiths in there too.
