I’ve been a huge fan of The Futureheads since their 1-2-3 Nul! Ep back in 2002/2003, seeing their black and white video for “Carnival Kids” got me insanely excited about them, but they took almost two years before they released their incredibly catchy, fun, and pop-punk-fueled debut album “The Futureheads”.
Their buzz waned slightly with their last album “This Is Not The World”, but with their latest album “The Chaos” their sound is moving back to what it was 7 years ago, the sound that got them such a buzz and popularity.
Below you can hear their song “Struck Dumb” from the upcoming album “The Chaos”, released via Dovecote Records on June 1st and watch their video for “Heartbeat Song”. You can pre-order from their site and doing so enters you into a contest to win customised “The Futureheads” iPad. Sounds spiffy.
