[Listen/Download] – The Suzan

This four piece, all-girl band from Japan (Saori, Rie, Nico, Ikue) have been exciting the western world over the last few months with their take on xylophone-induced Power-Pop-Punk.

It amazes me how these bands whose native tongue isn’t English can sing in pretty much perfect English, and The Suzan are no exception.  With only two publicly available songs out right now, and only one of those downloadable, you’re gonna have to visit their MySpace page if you wanna hear the other “High And Low” that starts off sounding like Jet’s “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” which sounds like The Jam’s “A Town Called Malice”.
