Philadelphia-based duo Work Drugs musical premise is meant to emphasize the smoother things in life: “dancing, boating, yachting, sexting, and living.” Their latest release shows a funkier take on these interests while maintaining the low-maintenance level of a vacation romance.
Between their lyrical play and the pop-friendly synth/guitar hooks, this track would make a lovely addition to any outdoor/BBQ/beach day playlist. It would also work perfectly (should you find yourself in that awkward situation) in getting the message across that like vacations, vacation romances aren’t meant to last forever.
