You’ve no doubt heard me gushing over Yuck in the last few months, and rightly so, their debut album almost being as anticipated as James Blake’s and Radiohead’s…or maybe more so, I haven’t figured that out yet.
Anyway, yesterday the guys announced their next release, a split 7″ with Porcelain Raft, both bands covering a song of each other’s. Whipping out the parentheses before and after the “c”, they did their take on Porcelain Raft’s “Despite Everything”, and he did his own take on their song “The Wall”. Incidentally, Porcelain Raft also made videos for Yuck’s “The Base Of A Dream Is Empty” and Yu(c)k’s “Weakend”.
The 7″ is out now via Transparent and is limited to 300 copies, so you’re really gonna have to act quickly to get your mittens on it.
