“Synchronicity” is the number one selling album from The Police. The album was named after Koestler’s “Roots of Coincidence” which talks about Carl Jung’s theory of synchronicity and is highly influenced by the growing genre of reggae music. “I do my best work when I’m in pain and turmoil” Sting had said, and you can hear this to be true in the track “Every Breath You Take”. Sadly, this was also the last album The Police recorded as a band.
