I really hate these video teasers that seem to be the new trend these days, but they are effective because now I can’t wait to hear more from Wilco. In this appropriately named teaser, “Almost,” we see Wilco tearing it up. The the video starts out as a set up and the cadence of the drum beats builds up to heavy guitar shredding, strong and warped electronic sounds and then falls off with the apt lyric, “Almost”.
Grrr…damn you Wilco! Regrettably, we need to wait until Sept. 27th for the new album, “The Whole Love”, to be released, but perhaps, we’ll get a few more teasers to hold us over.
