A couple of weeks ago Sharon Van Etten announced that she’d be releasing her new album “Tramp” on February 7th 2012 via Jagjaguwar. The album features several distinguished musicians such as members of The National, Beirut, The Walkmen, Wye Oak and Julianna Barwick, which means it’ll pretty much be god damn epic. See what I did there?
Anyway, today Pitchfork had first dibs on her new song “Serpents” which features various amounts of the people listed above and sounds like a cut from her last album “Epic”, but check it out and let us know what you think. I’m excited.
