[Watch] – New Video By Grouplove – “Colours”

You won’t have seen this band featured on this site before and I for one am appalled.  Please contact the site admin to complain and demand monetary compensation (he will ignore your requests).

Awnyhoo, amongst all of my other discoveries last year these guys got lost along the way.  Months and months ago I found them and copped their debut self-titled EP, and I kept meaning to do an introduction piece and never got around to it, even though it was one of the EPs I played most last year.  That introduction piece is on its way, but for now here’s the video for one of the best songs of 2010 “Colours” (I’m putting the fact that they spelled “colours” correctly down to them having a member from London in the band….you pesky Americans with your removal of vowels).

It’s the kinda video you’d expect from this five-piece from L.A., a beautifully-shot, well-executed, slow motion fire starter a la MGMT and M83.  Just enjoy this for now and keep an eye out for more tunes soon.  You can get your hands on the 7″ single of “Colours” if you feel so inclined (which is b-sided with the below remix, via NeonGold)

If there’s an album in the works and it’s half as good as their EP and it’s released this year, it’ll be one of the best of the year. Bes belee dat.
