Way back when I had the red and black lumberjack, with the hat to match, I posted about Jai Paul and the sublime music he had posted on his MySpace page.
Well now that’s all gone and has been replaced with a short message from him and two flashing images that follow it; Air Force, and XL Recordings. Yup, looks like the dude got signed, which isn’t surprising since I didn’t hear a single bad thing said about the guy.
I spoke to him a few times over the course of last year, mainly just checking in on him to see how he was doing and unfortunately he did actually put any other tunes, but now with a label deal in sight it might not be much longer until we do hear something new. Anyway, as a slight placeholder until then, Jamie Harley posted this video for Jai Paul’s “BTSTU” from last year. The video isn’t an official release, and it was posted back in December, but it’s still cool as shit and accompanies the song well.
