[Watch] – New Video By James Blake – “The Wilhelm Scream”

Quite possibly the best track on his blinding and stellar debut album, James Blake has released a video for “The Wilhelm Scream” over at Pitchfork.

There’s only a week left until his self-titled LP drops (less than a week if you’re in the U.K. or reading this more than 12 hours after I post) and it’s a huge fucking album, one you should dedicate at least an hour to for a few days and lose yourself.  You might just come out of it with a better appreciation for silence used in songs and gorgeous vocal arrangements.

It’s a simple yet beautiful video, easy on the eyes and soft, out of focus with pops and film-burns.  Not only that, but he released an 11 minute sampler of his album, the first minute of each song on the album, so you can check that out below too.
