“Causers Of This”, Toro Y Moi‘s debut album released in early 2010, was a good album, it just wasn’t great.
I listened to it multiple times whilst laying out in the sun over the course of last summer and every time I fell asleep, not because it was boring, but because it was so damn dreamy. “Still Sound”, the first cut from his second album “Underneath The Pine” out on February 22nd via Carpark, and if this song holds true through the rest of the album it’s gonna be better than “Causers Of This”.
The video either just nonsense, or it’s got some kinda meaning that I can’t figure out, or it’s a bit of both, but it’s well shot and has that 80′s collegiate feel about it.
