ALRIGHT! FINE!
I admit it, I really like Yuck‘s debut album, you happy now? For those unaware I was initially met with disappointment upon my first couple of listens, but I took a break, listened to Starfucker‘s new album and revisited it a week later, ears afresh. It’s a really great album and if you were in the same place as me after your first couple of listens, just take a break and then give it another try.
Their previous single “Rubber” is now unavailable (although some places say it comes out on February 7th even though I got mine back in November), and the release for “Holing Out” is also February 7th according to certain sites and February 21st according to others, so it’ll show up sometime soon. Meanwhile check out the video they upped last night for it, then just watch it continuously until the single comes out….that’s probably a good idea.
