Electronic French duo Air are to release their new album “Le Voyage Dans La Lune” which includes collaborations with Beach House and Au Revoir Simone.
The album, which will be the follow-up to their 2009 LP “Love 2″ will be out on February 12th, and borrows its name from the famous short film from 1902 that the band were working on recently for an updated score. This tells me two things; 1.) Air + Beach House may just be my new sleepytime music, and 1.b) Beach House are working on music again after touring the world!
I know that this sounds like I’m more excited for a new Beach House album than the new Air album, but “Teen Dream” was an amazing album. Below you can check out the tracklist as well as the short film, and the homage that The Smashing Pumpkins made to the film.
