Bon Iver has followed in the footsteps of the great Radiohead and released stems to their self titled album, Bon Iver. The project is hosted on Indaba Music and offers $1,000 for each remix, and upwards of $10,000 to the winner. The winning songs will be hosted on Spotify as a part of the Bon Iver, Bon Iver Remix Album.
Now we wait. Wait for the masses to ravage their way through one of 2011′s greatest albums in a post-Skrillex world. Lets hope not all of them are dubstep-infused. Granted, its not as if there have yet to be Bon Iver remixes on the internet. If you peruse Soundcloud you’ll find a handful of really great ones. Here is one for you to enjoy as we wait for this competition to unfold (ending 8/29; winners announced the third week of September).
