Contest: Win Our Top 31 Albums Of 2012!

As has been the case in the last two years that we’ve run our Best Of lists, we’re also running a contest alongside it where you can win the albums on our list on vinyl, and it won’t cost you your soul. If this is your first time with our year-end list, it works like this: The list is a top 31 albums of the year and each day in December we reveal a new album on the list, counting down from 31 to 1, with our number one album of the year being revealed on December 31st. It starts tomorrow, December 1st!

We’ve been in touch with everyone on our list, from artists, to labels, to PR people, to management, and everyone else in between to try to get all of these amazing albums for you, for free, and some of the biggest and best labels are helping us out. All you have to do to win them is the following:

• Twitter: Follow us on Twitter and retweet each new album as we reveal it. You must be following us for your entry to count.
• Facebook: Like or Comment on the Facebook post once it’s posted (tell us what you thought of the album or if you think it deserved a higher/lower spot, what you would’ve put in its place etc).  Sharing the post helps but we can’t always see everyone who shares something due to privacy controls on individual user accounts.
• Tumblr: Follow us on Tumblr and Reblog each album as it’s revealed. You must be following us for your entry to count.

Each retweet, like, reblog, or comment will get you one entry and you can retweet, like, reblog, or comment on each album as many times as you like to get more entries.

After the list is complete we’ll take a few days to go through all of the entries, pick a winner at random, get in touch with you, forward your information to each of the labels and artists taking part, and hopefully it won’t take too long for you to get your prizes.
