[Discuss] Person Wakes From Coma After 25 Years, Never Heard Music Before….

….what song do you play for them as an introduction to music?

This is a completely hypothetical question so there’s no need to dissect the ins and outs of someone being in a coma since birth, just the premise of someone never having heard any form of music before.  It could be someone who has been deaf their whole life and gets surgery so they can hear.

My personal choice would be:

Frank – Otis Redding – “These Arms Of Mine
Stephen – Glen Campbell – “Wichita Lineman

For me I’d want to play something that embodies the heart and soul of music, and Otis Redding’s beautiful melodies, passion-filled vocals, and music that can make you laugh, cry, think, and feel is (to me) what music is all about.

So what are yours?  If I can find the song I’ll add it to the list.
