Whilst the majority of people in the U.S. were basking in self-induced food comas on Thanksgiving, New York’s Lana Del Rey was basking in the love of the French people.
On Thursday she visited French TV show Taratata to play her hit song “Video Games” and in a short interview she announced that barring any last minute changes her debut album will be called “Born 2 Die” (or “Born To Die”, whichever seems less pretentious).
Earlier this year she signed to Interscope, released a couple of new songs and videos, and went on a tour of Europe, and with upcoming single “Born 2 Die” just around the corner, with the video for it even closer, it’s looking like the album is slated for a January 23rd 2012 release date. Watch her performance of “Video Games” on Taratata below.
