Listen Before You Buy’s Top 31 Albums Of 2011 Countdown Extravaganza!

Tomorrow, December 1st 2011, marks the start of Listen Before You Buy‘s Top 31 Albums Of 2011 Countdown Extravaganza!

If you were with us last year then you’ll know we do things a little differently here with our year-end lists, and this year is no exception.  If you peruse music sites and blogs around this time of the year you’ll know that their year-end lists are generally posted as a one-off list on a certain date, and that’s it.

At Listen Before You Buy however, we do a countdown throughout the entire month of December, revealing a new album on our list every day with the number one album of the year being revealed on New Year’s Eve.  As with last year we’ll just be posting the stream of the album along with the information you’d need to know about it, and that’s about it. Each of our Editors got one pick that they wanted to be on the list regardless of who else liked it/had heard it, and for each of those picks we’ll each write a short piece about the album.

Also, and maybe more excitingly, we’re running a fantastic contest alongside the countdown just like last year‘s, so if you’re into winning free stuff then watch out for that too! We hope you enjoy our list and let us know what you think in the comments!
