With this being my first year-end best-of list, I wanted to do something that’s unlike other year-end best-of lists (as far as I know).
Whilst most sites compile top 10 or 20 lists, I’m doing a month long countdown from the 1st of December (that’s tomorrow) until the last day of the year, with the number one album being posted on the last day of the year. Since I’m fairly terrible with words and writing reviews, I won’t write up a piece on how great the album is, chances are you don’t really give that much of a shit what I think anyway, right? Just know that if it’s on the list, it’s pretty damn good.
What I will do instead is not only give you everything you need to know about the album, but you’ll also get an MP3 from each album as well as nice big album artwork, multiple links to purchase the album in various formats from various retailers, as well as links so you can connect with the band via Twitter and Facebook etc.
What? Is that not enough? Ok, how about a stream of the entire album to listen to as well? Yeah, so you can listen before you buy. See what I did there?
But wait, there’s more! I’m also running a contest for the entire month where you can win the top three albums on vinyl, but watch out for that in another post for the details. If this doesn’t satisfy you guys, I’ve got no idea what will, but I am open to suggestions.
