[Watch] – New Video By MGMT – “It’s Working”
All I’m going to say about this is that I have no idea what the fuck is going on. If you can figure it out, please let me know.
Listen to their previous singles below.

No seriously, someone tell me what the fridge was going on there.
[Listen/Download] – The Hood Internet – T-Pain vs. DOM – Cowgirl In America
I’ve already spoken about DOM and how they’ll light up your summer, but now The Hood Internet, with their wily musical mashuping ways, have gone and taken that to the next level by mixing DOM’s “Living In America” with T-Pain’s “Reverse Gowgirl”. The result? Well it’s either an MGMT-sounding T-Pain, or a Coolio-sounding DOM, or a mashup of both but I’ll let you be the judge.
Bochicha!

[Watch] – The Making Of The Freaky Video “Flash Delirium” By MGMT
Have you seen this video yet? It’s pretty freaky, with talking throats and shit, but before you watch the making of, watch the whole thing in its original form first.
[Watch] – MGMT Performing Live Right Now
MGMT are playing Letterman tonight but they’re also doing a live webcast of the entire gig, a 45 minute set “encompassing songs from both albums”. Their second album “Congratulations” was released last month to completely polarising reviews, many either hating it or loving it. A lot of those who said they hated it were basing it off of their love for the first album, and a lot of the ones who said they loved it were basing it off of their dislike for the first album.
You’ll just have to give it a listen for yourself and decide.
You can watch the whole set below live from 8pm EST and in the meantime listen to the songs “Congratulations” and “Flash Delirium” and watch the video for the latter.

[Discover/Listen/Download] – DOM – [Indie/Electronic]
If you’re not ready for summer yet (personally I’m ready for summer as soon as the fucking snow shows up) then DOM is about to remedy that.
DOM is a band of musical renegades from Worcester, Massachusetts, much like Lorenzo Lamas (not from Worcester) and fronted by Dom, who looks nothing like Lorenzo Lamas, but he does have long hair. It’s difficult to gauge just how much of their backstory is true because the interviews they give are not only hilarious, but tinged with implausibilities and far-fetched stories. For instance, on their MySpace page they list a band member as “Bochicha” and in an interview with Pitchfork Dom himself said that Bochicha is his pet cat and that the Worcester Sharks (local hockey team) used the song as their face-off song. Pitchfork contacted the team and they said they don’t play it at all.
I love the fact that they can give interviews and just talk shite throughout the whole thing and not care about whether they get their message across or if they answer the interviewer’s every question. Their music however is every bit as auspicious as the band should be, like a fuzzed-up, lo-fi, chillwaved cross between Passion Pit and pre-Congratulations MGMT.
Remember a couple of years back when Time To Pretend was inescapable and was being played on every radio station, car stereo, beach-bound boombox and movie/TV show you were exposed to? Well that’s how DOM’s “Living In America” will be, the lead track from their debut EP “Sun Bronzed Greek Gods”. I spoke to Dom on MySpace and he said it was cool for me to post some songs for you to listen to and download, so prepare those head-holes for the sound of your summer. Also watch their official video for “Living In America” and a live performance of “Burn Bridges” recorded at the start of April in New York.
“Sun Bronzed Greek Gods” is available for 10″ vinyl pre-order via Burning Mill Records (but be quick because they’ve already sold out of their first pressing and are onto their second), and in MP3 format from Amazon.
