As we reported a couple of weeks ago, Beach House have recorded a short film called “Forever Still” at the ranch in Texas where they recorded their latest album Bloom.
This little montage isn’t from that film, instead it’s a compilation of clips the band and entourage shot whilst in Texas, filled with cats, stars, sunrises, sunsets, trips to the desert, a bunch of lazing around, and some more cats.
The band have said that the short film can be expected mid-January, but in the meantime check our the home video for “New Year” below. We just named their latest album Bloom as our number one album of 2012, and if you’ve yet to hear it there’s no better way to start the new year. Trust us.
