January albums. Unless an album released in January is off-the-fucking-wall-amazing, it tends to be forgotten about come December when everyone is running their year-end lists.
Thankfully Cloud Nothings have an off-the-fucking-wall-amazing album in Attack On Memory. Even way back in January I knew it’d end up on our year-end best-of list. This is all relevant because tonight they made their first appearance on network TV and killed it with “Stay Useless”, reminding everyone who forgot about the album just why it’s so good.
