Southern California indie rock four-piece News Of The Fire, a band we introduced back in October, have just released a video for the live session they did at Jam In The Van for the (EP standout) song “1996″. The session sees the four members packed into a van (surprise!) for a great rendition of the song, featuring all the energy that made them noteworthy in the first place. Highlights include Blake LeCroy‘s intense, concentrated drumming abilities and lead singer/guitarist Dan Fromhart‘s (successful) attempt to carry the original studio recording trumpet part on the guitar.
