In the last year or two Philadelphia’s Work Drugs have released about 19 albums in their self-described vein of music “sedative-wave”, and you know what, when the music’s good they can call it whatever the hell they want to.
Their latest album Absolute Bearing has this new track “The Art Of Progress” on it that was apparently written in 1994 “as a response to U.S. President Bill Clinton and Russian President Boris Yeltsin signing the Kremlin accords, which stopped the preprogrammed aiming of nuclear missiles toward each country’s targets, and also provided for the dismantling of the nuclear arsenal in Ukraine.”.
